By the way I looked up how the dalek flagship saucers look and they do look a bit different then the scouts like more spheres on the bottom and different detailing on the top, for example but they for the most part look the same, so using the scout ship model for all military ships is still serviceable until you can port in the actual replacements for the higher ship classes.
Anyways, fitting how you have the crucible at the center at the center of the solar system, as the aetherophasic engine is built around the Star of the homeworld which the crucible is technically acting as so you can technically pretend you are firing off the reality bomb ignoring the fact that the engine ends up destroying your empire as well.
